Brooke McCorkle Okazaki is Assistant Professor of Musicology at the University of Vermont, USA. In addition to her work on Japanese popular music, she co-authored the book Japan's Green Monsters: Environmental Commentary in Kaiju Cinema (2018), in which she and Sean Rhoads explore the various ways Japanese monster movies address contemporary ecological concerns.
